ground zero

for the rediscovery of oneself.

ground zero features a song + instrumental titled sing, my tongue! that was originally just a project for my music history class at school. it is modeled after a medieval chant by the same name, translated from latin (pange lingua gloriosi). with the project itself, i felt like it was a pivotal piece, considering the requirements and freedom of creativity in regards to presentation method. unfortunately, the classroom was not blown away like i had imagined after presenting the project; i knew that shit was sick as hell though, so that’s all that mattered to me. still, i thought the project deserved a new medium that would foster it well.

i’ve been extremely hesitant on releasing singles because i love multi-layered concepts, but i wanted to be sure i remained relevant to those that support me. i believe i’ve learned so much since MONACHOPSIS, and i want people to see i’ve grown as a producer. plus, it might be a while until my next project comes out.

i want to say thank you for listening and supporting. it means more than i’ll ever be able to decipher, but please know i am forever grateful.
